BREEDING

We offer Wrangler's Toolman at $650.

  • Live cover at our ranch in Maple Valley, Wash.

Our facilities include 12 by 14 foot stalls and turn out to a 70 by 180 feet arena. If with a foal, we creep feed the foal with balanced nutrition. Exercise is very important and all mares are turned out daily by themselves. Safety is paramount!

Board is $7.00 dry or $8.00 with foal per day.

We have the mares checked at 16-18 days after breeding by ultrasound. We work closely with our local vet., Dr. David Smith.

predictability of appaloosa color-

Toolman has produced a high percentage of color, see some of his foals on the Toolman page.

Wrangler himself was colored as well as his sire and dam. He has produced colored foals from AQHA mares as well as TB mares. He has also had solids from colored appaloosa mares. The only color predictability is that it is hard to break a solid CPO mare that has no white markings (although it has happened!). The ApHC Club has restricted the registration of AQHA, TB, and Arabian crosses.

The 2003 foal will have to be colored to get registered or can be CPO'd if solid, only if both parents are ApHC.

We have all varieties of color from blankets with spots, blankets with no spots, roans with spots, leopards, all colors with bay predominant, and of course the solids. No matter what you WILL have a wonderful, athletic, smooth mover, good minded, versatile family horse. Please take a moment to read our guestbook from satisfied Wrangler owners by clicking here
